If you value the right to vote—the ability to vote, please attend our
Election Protection Workshop on Saturday afternoon, September 19th, at St Luke’s Episcopal Church, 525 North 5th Avenue in Sequim.
This comprehensive program will inform and equip you to protect the right to vote and the ability to exercise that right.
Sessions include:

Introduction: Election Integrity/Hands Off Our Vote: Presentation on the threats we face and how to counter them— addressed in greater depth at each session.

Post-carding: Training and hands-on activity, writing simple but effective postcards to registered voters to increase voter participation, counter disinformation, get out the vote, and more.

Making great signs: How to get your message across effectively with a sign at a rally or demonstration—with hands-on practice.

Phone-banking: Information on how to join phonebanks to get out the vote, gather information, and more, with exercises.

Door-knocking: Instruction and guided practical activities on one of the most crucial elements of getting your message out during an election season.

Resilience in Troubling Times: How to stay strong and focused in the face of relentless fear-mongering, intimidation, and feelings of helplessness or hopelessness.

Ensuring the Right and Ability to Vote: The League of Women Voters will help you confirm your status as a registered voter, how to make sure your vote is counted, and walk you through the nuts and bolts of our electoral system here in Clallam County.

Talking with Our Community: An open discussion on how to engage with friends, neighbors, acquaintances with different political perspectives.

Safety and Security: Learn how to, and keep others, be safe and secure at events; get an introduction to and practice in becoming a “yellow vest" to provide safety and security at our rallies and demonstrations.
Three hours will go fast as you rotate through an engaging program that includes activity tables and focused break-out sessions.
There is a clear and present danger to the integrity of the midterm election, and it is up to us to defend it. Our goal is to inspire and empower you to make a definitive commitment to take action. None of us has to do it all, but all of us must do something.
